~Descriptions For When it is Visited~

The ruins of Varnok with its overgrown cobblestone roads, consist of many old shops including leather working ~ many rotted suits of leather arm0r, collars, and other such things scattered about the shop, if one looks hard enough one might find a couple intact~ blacksmithing ~ Standard things here, old horse shoes, many unfinished blades, scattered hooks and iron plates about~, a fisherman's warehouse~ The old stale scent of decayed fish reeks from the building, thankfully it is very old and faint compared to a few years ago, inside if ventured are the remains of fish, multitudes of fisherman's tools, the skeleton of a mermaid and a few human as well~, a few homes~ many of these seem as if the people were just getting ready to eat dinner, everything laid out and covered in dust, Personal items in place neat and in order.. it would make one wonder what happened here~, A Tavern looking from its ruins to be a rather tawdry strip club with some old bottles of liquor in the basement, costumes in the back room, many types of goblets and plates about, in the hearth a solidified batch of stew.. or was it stew? The market square filled to the brim with goods though to old to sell or do anything with save for the many bolts of silks and other cloths that may be salvaged... One building looks half burned down and much of its contents are nothing more than ash... As strange as it looks, a single rose of blue grows in the center...

Orin Keep... The place though clean looking and seemingly untouched by times relentless decay, makes one feel as if they are being watched by some malevolent being... The gate locked if one tries to open it... Gargoyles glare down at you casting shadows on your form.. do you dare try the key?...
If opened dust falls as the gates swing noisily and a grand, though overgrown courtyard that wraps about the center building displayed before your eyes... flowers and plants seemingly from all regions are planted here, to the right and the left fountains with rippling crystal pure water seem to have forgotten no one was here, the richness of the former lands becoming clear.. The Keeps inner gates are open, almost welcoming.. the soft-white marble walkways leading to that entrance are smooth though a few vines cross over them in several places. Inside a grand foyer faded blue carpets up the center stairs, old tapestries and decorative armors tastefully displayed ..  Dust covered black marble with red veins adorn the floors giving way to soft gray marble for the walls, the raised designs of Celtic knotting and dragons on the white ceilings exquisite Furnitures, though covered in dust also are in rich fabrics and dark stained woods... it seems to go on and on...
The ruins nearby seem to be of an Archers Village with a massive broken down stable.. a few horse carcasses lay nearby... homes much like from the first village, a locked down tavern with full stock of wine and ales.. though one might think twice before sampling the ale...
3) This was a vast meeting hall for, it seems many guilds ... Old faded parchments strewn about a table in the center, long and rectangular made of what looks to be petrified wood, the matching chairs, numbering 65, the same, long benches of mahogany and fine oaks line the walls and a small back room is spotted, this is where records were carefully kept and such things as that, age however faded any inks that were used.... not one body seen, nothing but dust and the afore mentioned things...
4) Trespice Tower, the place is completely gutted, cleaned to sterility save years of built up dust.. winding stairs to the left to issue one up to more floors of nothing and a torn off roof, as well as to the right more stairs leading downwards to more nothing... till one reaches the bottom... If curiosity takes one there a small library of obscure trinkets is to be had.. most of them ugly and nearly all of no value save one... a small talisman of mithril, its shape that of the eye of horus. A slight mages check would reveal a soft glow of white but nothing more...
5) Ziren Base.. the place was charred, melted stone, any metal, the wood structures ash... a heavy attack of supernatural influence would seem to be the blame... judging from the melted humanlike  shapes all over the grounds it was some sort of military base...

S) The place was filled with tranquil serenity.. a circle of stones much like that of stonehenge were placed there, deep forest green marble was the stones make the veins a soft glowing life green... in the center a small tree grew... no it was not the tree of life but it was to symbolize it for old rituals and such things.
R) This, from the outside looks as a simple cave but when entered one can see it was an alchemist lab.. the mage who had it, his name known to only a few as he is long dead... Preserved herbs and many powders in bottles line the walls, a standard alchemist "recipe" book sets on the table with tubs and hand blown beakers.... a fireplace with a strangely lite fire lights the dank cave as well as torches that should have been out many a year ago still burn true... the dust on the floor undisturbed and a creepy sensation moving up ones spine...

C) Crystal Palace
when this is found ones eyes could not believe the beauty of the structure... made of opaque white crystal with accents of a rose hue it spirals into the treetops, everything inside removed, not a crack in its regal walls nor a bit of dust on any surface... All interiors made of the same crystal with silver accented moldings ... columns reaching up to vaulted ceilings... the sweet scents of the forest not held at bay by the walls and vast sections of clear crystal allow for only the best views, in the center of the main room sweet water bubbles in a fountain, beckoning one to drink...
